La CBI ha risposto con entusiasmo, inviando l’arbitro nazionale Massimo Serafini (nella foto), alla richiesta di Yacine Kafi, vero factotum delle bocce in Africa, di aver un esperto che potesse collaborare alla realizzazione di uno stage tecnico ed arbitrale della specialità Raffa e dirigere la competizione "Tournoi Reine Des Oasis - Memorial Benamna/Mejouj", programmata a Touggourt in Algeria dal 14 al 22 aprile scorsi.

Nell’ambito dei campionati Europei di Crema, che hanno avuto un grande successo tecnico-organizzativo, venerdì 30 settembre, si è svolta, presso la “Sala dei Ricevimenti” del Comune di Crema, l'Assemblea Elettiva della E.B.A., presieduta da Romolo Rizzoli Presidente della C.B.I. (Confederazione Boccistica Internazionale) e della Federbocce Italiana. Una giornata importante che ha visto l'approvazione del nuovo statuto che prevedeva anche il cambiamento del nome E.B.A. in C.E.R....

The extraordinary assembly of CBI was held in Mendrisio-Switzerland on the 26th May 2018. The new executive committee was elected unanimously by the votes of 39 countries represented out of 51 members for the following 4 years term.

Il nuovo comitato esecutivo ha avuto il suo primo incontro poco dopo l'assemblea. 

Durante i diciottesimi Giochi del Mediterraneo svoltisi a Tarragona-Spagna, Enrico DALL'OLMO di San Marino ha vinto una grande vittoria battendo l'italiano Alfonso NANNI con un punteggio di 12-2 nelle gare di Raffa single.

Tre discipline di sport da bocce, Raffa, Lyonnaise e Petanque, sono state incluse nella 3a edizione di African Youth Games. Le competizioni sono state giocate dal 23 al 27 luglio. L'organizzazione è stata un successo totale per le 3 discipline.

Durante il campionato europeo juniores di bocce tenutosi a Kahramankazan, in Turchia, la squadra turca ha vinto la medaglia d'oro nella sua storia.

Il nuovo comitato esecutivo della CBI ha avuto il suo primo incontro a Kahramankazan, Ankara, in Turchia, il 3 agosto, e molte importanti decisioni sono state prese per avviare una vera riforma nello sport di Bocce.

Italy wins the gold medals in all three disciplines in European Women Championship, played in Sondrio, Italy, on 18-21 September 2018.

CBI Board of Directors and Technical Committee had a 2 days working meeting on 20-21 September in Sondrio, Italy during the European Bocce Championship. The first day, general discussions with the participation of the head delegations took place. The second day the meeting was solely between the board of directors and the technical committee.

Italian team took the first place wining against San Marino, Switzerland third place and Turkey fourth place in International Quadrangular Tournament played in Campobasso on 1-2 December. 

World Bocce Championship, with the new format and new disciplines, was held successfully in Tucuman Argentina between the 5th and the 10th of March 2019.    

In an important meeting held in Rosario Argentina, it was confirmed that Bocce will be one of the official sports in South American Games in 2022 which will be held in Asuncion, Paraguay. 

Italian team dominated European Seniors Championship held in Innsbruck, Austria from 10th to 14th September 2019 winning 4 gold medals.  15 national teams competed in the championship which will qualify the first 7 nations in each category separately for the 2021 World Championship.

CBI was approved as a full member of TAFISA during the 26th TAFISA General Assembly held in Tokyo on the 15th of November 2019. 

During the 3rd International World Ethnosport Forum which was held in Antalya Turkey with the participation of delegates from 49 countries including 11 ministers of sports. One of the participants in the forum was CBI president Mutlu Turkmen and signed an MoU with the president of WEC, Mr. Bilal Erdogan. 

CBI Executive Committee had an online meeting on the 11th of April at 13:00 (CET Time) and decided to postpone World Juniors Championship to 2021.  

During the silence in the international tournament calendar, Lučenec managed to host the 11th edition of the Central European Raffa Tournament. 

During the 12th International Kemer Open Tournament, the first "Precision Shooting" tournament was organized.  

CBI ExCom virtual meeting was held on the 17th December 2021.  The meeting started with a 1-minute silence for the memory of Mr Limardo, CBI vice-president, who passed away a short time ago. The main issues discussed and decisions taken in the meeting are as follows; 

PanAmerican Juniors Bocce Championship was held in Carlos Barbosa, Brazil from the 4th to the 10th of April 2022. 

After Tarragona 2018 where Raffa was represented with 1 sole discipline, Raffa took its full representation in Oran 2022 with all 4 disciplines, being played successfully. 

Palazzo di Bocce hosted the second edition of its International Invitational Tournament on 22-23 July 2022. 

The opening of the World Juniors Bocce Championship was held in the spectacular historical municipal square of Rome.  

World Juniors Bocce Championship was held in Rome from the 20th to the 24th of September 2022.  After a long break due to the covid19 break, the juniors arriving from various destinations of the world enjoyed competing in the technical bocce center of Rome. The organization was a big success and players did their best to reach the result. Only the best 20 teams in each discipline qualified from the continents had a chance to show up in the championship.    

From October 1st to 15th, the XXII South American Games of Asunción 2022 were held, the most important sporting event in South America, in which Bocce was on the stage between October 12th and 14th.

The historical joint World Championships of Raffa and Volo gathering 52 teams from 37 countries ended successfully. 

The Ordinary Elective General Assembly of CBI was held in Mersin during the World Bocce Championship on the 3rd of November.  

The European Championship for Clubs was organised in Bergamo from 24th to 27th November with 10 male club teams and 8 female club teams. Italy won both titles. 

L'Aquila, as the European Sports City in 2022, hosted an international Bocce tournament gathering 8 best players from the world. 

Amazing Show in Pallino D’Or   The 50th anniversary of the Pallino D’Or Tournament organized by the Sambucheto Bocce Club ended with an amazing show.   

European Juniors Championship in Rome was finished with the amazing performance of the athletes on the final day. 

Last March 27, Wednesday, the Basque Association of Beach Tennis and Minority Sports organized the First Basque Championship of Bocce in the individual category.
