New decisions from CBI board
During the World Championship, president Turkmen had chance to meet with members of Pan American Bocce Confederation and Board members of CBI. The CBI board made serious decisions to continue in reforms and restructuring of CBI. Some of the major decisions are as following;
1- After the failure of the Olympic Games bid for 2024 Paris, the new aim will be the inclusion in the Youth Olympics which will be held in Dakar in 2022. For this purpose, CMSB should be invited to reform its structure and start working immediately.
2- CBI will apply to be a member of IOC recognized international sport for all federation, TAFISA.
3- The continental confederations will organize Junior Championships until the end of October and registrations for the 2020 World Juniors Championship should be started immediately after the quota winners are defined. Players born on and after the 1st January 2001 will be able to play in continental championships and world championship in 2020.
4- An online questionnaire will be developed very soon and shared with member federations to find out a general picture of World Bocce.
5- Marketing and sponsoring probabilities will be searched with professional support.
