
Paraguay Shines at the PanAmerican Juniors Bocce Championship
The PanAmerican Juniors Bocce Championship took place in Paraná, Brazil, from 25 to 29 June 2025, bringing together the most promising young talents of the continent. The event served as a key qualification round for the upcoming World Juniors Championship, to be held in Bretagne, France, at the end of October.
The championship saw outstanding performances, with Paraguay emerging as a dominant force by securing gold medals in both the boys’ and girls’ individual disciplines. The host nation, Brazil, claimed top honours in the mixed doubles event, showcasing its strength in team play.
The first four-ranked teams from this championship earned the coveted right to represent the Pan-American region at the World Juniors Championship, where they will compete against the best young athletes from around the globe.
This highly competitive and spirited event highlighted the growing level of junior bocce across the Americas, promising an exciting future for the sport on the international stage.
