Türkiye Dominates Kemer Open
The 16th International Bocce (Raffa) Open took place in Kemer, Antalya, from 6–10 November 2025, welcoming athletes from more than 10 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. The tournament featured competitions in Raffa Double Men, Double Women, Mixed Doubles, and Precision Shooting categories.
Türkiye achieved remarkable success, claiming top positions in multiple events.

Men’s Double: Cem Şimşek and Bilgehan Çakır (Türkiye) secured the gold medal after a decisive victory over Hungary.

Women’s Double: Şevval Akçanlı and Sinem Varğın (Türkiye) won the title ahead of Mongolia.

Mixed Doubles: Sinem Varğın and Cem Şimşek (Türkiye) triumphed against Slovakia in a thrilling final.

Precision Shooting: Bilgehan Çakır and Şevval Akçanlı from Türkiye earned gold medals in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively.
The medal ceremony was held in a festive atmosphere, where CBI President Dr Mutlu Türkmen, TBBDF President Dr. E. Özgür Bayazatlı, and Sports Director of Kemer, Mr. İlkay Kaya, presented the awards to the winning athletes. The event once again highlighted Türkiye’s growing prominence in the international bocce arena and its strong organisational capacity under the leadership of the Turkish Bocce Bowling and Darts Federation.
