World Juniors Championship Postponed to 2022
CBI Executive Committee had its virtual meeting on the 1st of July and decided to postpone the World Bocce Juniors Championship to 2022.
The meeting was started with 1-minute silence for Ms Paola Pigni, a member of CBI technical committee, who passed away a few weeks ago.
The committee decided to monitor the situation with the global pandemics threat until the end of 2021 before making concrete decisions on the dates, format, and place of the world championships. Meanwhile, the national members and continental organisations are encouraged to organise regional level international events and semi-virtual activities to keep the athletes alert.
The committee also evaluated the situation of the new umbrella organisation and the process of the INTERACT project in which CBI is actively involved.
