Italian team wins the International Bocce Tournament in USA
International Bocce Tournament played in Missouri, USA resulted with the victory of the Italian team; MP Filtri Caccialanza.
The tournament was held September 19-23rd at the Italia America Club of St. Louis, Missouri. World format of triples, singles, and doubles playing punto, raffa, volo was used in a round-robin preliminary. The medalists were:
1) Italy - MP Filtri Caccialanza
2) Brazil
3) Uruguay- Club Rozemor
4) Toronto Canada
Also participating:
Australia, Montreal Canada, and the USA
Winning team! Before the event sightseeing in Chicago and after beating Brazil for First Place. Team Caccialanza with St Louis Club President Tony Sanna, USBF President and CBI Treasurer Danny Passaglia and his wife Teresa.
