The 16th Iranian All Petanque and Bocce Championships for selecting men's and women’s national teams and the 17th General Assembly of the Iran Petanque and Bowls Association (IPBA) were organized successfully in Tehran from January 13-17, 2025. Last week was the second time that the most famous international venue in Iran, “Azadi Sport Complex”, hosted the national annual of the IPBA.

The International Bocce Confederation (CBI) President, Dr. Mutlu Türkmen, recently held a constructive meeting with Mr. Brett O’Riley, President of World Bowls, to explore future collaborations aimed at uniting Bocce and Bowls for shared growth and success. The 16th International Bocce (Raffa) Open took place in Kemer, Antalya, from 6–10 November 2025, welcoming athletes from more than 10 countries across Europe, Asia, and Africa. The tournament featured competitions in Raffa Double Men, Double Women, Mixed Doubles, and Precision Shooting categories.
